The Alford bed has a double layer of pocket springs, 2000 in total. Each spring is encased in Calico fabric for protection and to keep it aligned, in place to offer a zonal support to your individual pressure points with minimal disturbance to other areas of the mattress.

The mattress comes in three tensions, soft, medium or firm. Simply make your choice via the drop down box above.

Under the mattress surface there is a layer of hypoallergenic fibre making this mattress a great choice for allergy sufferers. Luxury natural fillings of Cotton & wool work as an insulation layer that is resilient and soft, providing the highest comfort rating.

Three rows of hand stitching in the border of the mattress strengthen the sides of the mattress and ensure that you get a consistent surface feel right to the edge. The surface is also hand tufted which ensures all internal components are held securely together. It is a double sided mattress so it can be turned to help prolong its lifespan.

The base of the bed is a padded platform top base and it comes in over forty fabric colour choices. If required you can also add two or four storage drawers, all options are available in the drop down boxes above. You can view the fabric options by enlarging the thumbnail images above.
