Standard Free Delivery
All items are eligible for free delivery within mainland UK at mrmattress.co.uk, this is not applicable to our High Street stores. Some post codes may be subject to a delivery charge, we will notify you if this is the case.
Single, small double and double mattresses will be delivered by a one man to the door service, unless an upgraded delivery request is made subject to a £30 delivery charge.Kingsize and superkingsize divans and mattresses will be delivered by a 2 man team, who will deliver to the room of choice. An am / pm time slot will be given 24 hours prior to delivery by either text or e-mail, alternatively you can check online after 3pm the day before delivery.
Our drivers can telephone you prior to delivery to let you know they are en-route so you don't have to wait in all day, please request this when placing your order. This service is not available on boxed and rolled mattresses, accessories such as pillows, quilts and mattress protectors - these will be delivered via parcelforce or alternative similar carriers.
Standard delivery will take between 2-7 working days.
In the event the item you have ordered is sold out, we will contact you with an approximate delivery lead time, and/or offer you an alternative similar product.
Next Day Delivery
Next day delivery is available on most of our in-stock products at a charge of £20, unless stated as free next day delivery
on the individual product. Your order must be placed by 11 a.m. Monday to Thursday. Next day orders placed before 11 a.m on a Friday morning will be delivered Monday. (Next day delivery is subject to stock availability). All items on next day delivery will be delivered to the first door of the building, drivers are not insured to enter your home.
If the item you are ordering states next day delivery within the product description, please confirm the preferred date of delivery at checkout within the special instructions.
Saturday delivery can be arranged for most of our in stock items at an additional cost of £25. This is available on a wide selection of post codes, although not offered for some rural and less populated areas at this time. Please contact one of our advisors on 0191 233 2203 to check availability for your area.
We offer a 7 day return policy on purchases from mrmattress.co.uk - not applicable to stores, which will cost £60. We will only accept returns of any item still in its original packaging, new and unused. Goods will be inspected by return, then refunded less the £60 return costs. For goods such as pillows, mattress protectors and duvets, you the customer shall be responsible for returning the goods, and cost of return, to us via the carrier or postage method you choose. These should be returned to us unused, unopened and in their original packaging for obvious health & hygiene reasons. A £5 re-stocking and handling charge will occur per item which will be deducted from your refund amount once the goods are back and inspected.
Goods must be inspected on delivery and refused if damaged, as we cannot be held responsible for goods damaged in transit which have been signed for. If the goods look like the packaging has been damaged please ask the drivers to note this on their paperwork before signing for your items. If the product does not appear to be damaged on arrival and upon unwrapping you discover any faults you must contact us within 7 days. This will enable the returns process to be more swift and efficient.
All delivery information and costs apply to mainland UK only.
Disposal of old beds
If your delivery is local to our stores in the North East then we can dispose of your old bed at a small cost. For other parts of the UK, outside our local delivery area we use an external carrier who do not offer this service. Please do not dispose of your old bed until you have received your goods as we cannot compensate you if there is a problem with your delivery and you are left without a bed.
